If your ring repair is not under the life-time warranty, a master jeweler will call you to discuss the cost before proceeding with the repair. During the discussion, the master jeweler will also tell you how long the repair will take to complete. It is important to insure your ring using the appraisal provided to cover the cost of any major repairs or total loss of center stone.
When you purchase an engagement ring, you may not have the exact right size. The ring needs to fit properly. If the ring is loose, you risk it falling off and losing it.
