Every red carpet has glamour, but the Met Gala is more than just glamour, it’s about fashion. With this year’s theme of “gilded glamour” there was no lack in sparkles on the red carpet. The theme “gilded glamour” was in correlation with Andrew Bolton’s two-part exhibition, “In America: An Anthology of Fashion” which explores early themes in American fashion. This theme focused on paying homage to the time period during 1870-1890 where the US had large economic growth. While some reviewers are claiming that some celebrities missed the mark with the theme in their clothing choices, the jewelry did not disappoint.
