As far as the event, it was exactly as planned! 40 of our friends and family showed up to Mile High Spirits in downtown Denver to watch me sing Toby Keith’s “Should’ve Been a Cowboy” to Sarah. I had a bluegrass band in on the surprise and the song went great. When I called her up on stage, she had no idea until I was on one knee and her parents were right in front of her.
